Reading the journal
Reading this journal sets no advertising cookie and runs no third-party tracker. Pages are served from a static build, and the images, typefaces and stylesheets of the journal are hosted with it.
What the server keeps
The server keeps a short access log for the maintenance of the site: the address requested, the date and time, and the response code. The log is used to find broken pages and to keep the journal reachable.
What you send
A message sent through the contact page is used to answer it and to file a correction with the entry it concerns. It is kept for as long as the correspondence is useful, and it is not added to a list or passed to anybody else.
Subscribing
The journal publishes a feed at /feed.xml. A feed reader collects it directly, and the journal learns nothing about who reads it.
